Results from using the DIY Soft Box – the real test

Here as you can see, the completed Soft Box is mounted directly to a Minolta 5600HS(D) flash set on Wireless. The Flash is mounted on a ball-head to allow better flexibility of the light position and direction. The first example shows how the back part of the setup looks like.

As you can see above, the front part of the Flash is turned to face the camera to ensure optimal Wireless Flash operation.

As the Soft Box is rather light, mounting onto the flash head should not be a problem.

As the size of the soft box in this example is not that big, repositioning of the flash could just be as easy as moving the tripod to a different location to get different lighting variation.

Below, are examples of the setup in use and the photo right at the bottom of the page is one of the example portraiture result with this soft box.
